Salaam and Shaking Hands

The Prophet (sallahAllaahu alayhi wasallam) said:

“Verily the believer when he meets another believer and gives him salaam and takes hold of his hand and shakes it: their sins fall off just as how the leaves of a tree fall off.” [1]
