The Most Poor and Devastated Home

1444- Abdullaah Ibn Mas’oud (radhiyaAllaahu ‘ anhu) said:

“The most poor and devastated house; is the house in which nothing of The Qur’an is recited.” 

 

Narrated by al-hakim as a statement of Ibn Mas’oud, and he said: ‘Some of them raised it as a statement of the Prophet (sallallaahu ‘ alayhi wasallam)’ . In Saheeh Targheeb: 1444  Al-Albaani said it is (Hasan Lighayrihi, a statement of Ibn Mas’oud).
