2625. It was narrated that Abu Hurayrah (may Allāh be pleased with him) said that Allāh’s Messenger (sallahAllaahu alayhi wasallam) said:
“Indeed the most beloved of you to me are:
– the ones who have the best character,
– who are lenient [with people],
– and who get along with others and are easy to get along with;
And indeed the most detestable of you to me are:
– those who carry gossips,
– and separate between loved ones,
– and find fault with innocent people.”
